Tucked away in the quaint, historic town of Oxford, Pride and Joy is a terrific spot for those looking to step back in time--when you could walk to the corner store for milk and ice cream, meander up the street to the local produce stand, or simply sit on the front porch and sip a lemonade while enjoying the scenery. The old fashioned charm and white picket fence are a warm welcome to visitors who want to slow it down a bit. Pride and Joy's cheerful interior contributes to the allure and comfort you'll experience while delighting in its modern amenities. This is a perfect cottage for those wanting to enjoy nothing more than some peace and quiet and the respite that Oxford is known for.

I don't know if this was the owners doing or ESVR. But on Friday ( the 2nd day ) of our 3 night rental we had a landscaper on the property from 8:15am - 4:30 pm. The gate was open the entire day and there was a person outside of the first floor bedroom and bathroom while we were getting ready for the day. A fenced in yard for our 2 dogs was a consideration for this property. The man was nice and the property looked beautiful. This was a 4 day rental and this should have been scheduled before or after.
Thank you to ESVR,I forgot some personal items and ESVR was kind enough to have them sent to me.
MANAGER RESPONSE: We are glad you enjoyed your stay and the property. Our apologies re: the landscaper. While some normal maintenance (lawn cutting, pool service) can occur during the stay in order to maintain the property properly, we absolutely agree that all day yard work should be rescheduled. Had we known, we would have worked with the owner to reschedule after your stay.

My family and I rent vacation homes frequently and I have never had a better experience with a property manager than I did with ESVR. They were attentive, efficient, friendly, and accommodating. We really appreciated how easy the check in process was, and the booklet provided at the house which covered everything we needed to know about the house, the surrounding area, and the check-out process was very helpful as well. All in all, I cannot recommend ESVR more highly.
The Pride and Joy Cottage was a lovely home and perfectly located in town. We loved the little neighborhood in which it was located. And the house itself was comfortable and extremely well equipped, especially for a family with small children. We felt right at home the whole time we were there and are grateful to the owners for sharing their home, and the special town of Oxford with us, for the week.
