This sweet little cottage is a perfect getaway for a few people. Most rentals require you to vacation with 30 of your best friends and family in order to obtain a waterfront home - Pandion is catered to the single family or one to two couples. The kayaks provided allow for great meandering along the river. The hot tub can sooth those tired muscles and the billiards room allows for a quick pick up match while dinner is on the grill. Just minutes to St. Michaels so you can bike or drive to town. Grab some history lessons at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum and then turn left out the main entrance for a bushel of crabs - waterfront dining at the Crab Claw. Pandion is the perfect destination spot if you want to simply be where you are or explore Maryland's Eastern Shore.

Eastern Shore Vacations continues to be the best booking experience we have. The website is incredibly user friendly. Check in and check out are the easiest of any traveling we do. And the office staff answered all of our questions instantly making booking, paying, and planning our trip pleasant and exciting.

Pandion was exactly what we were looking for. The private dock was perfect for crabbing and playing with our dog all day. The screened in porch was the perfect place us to sit outside for morning coffee and watch the sun come up over the water. We had a lot of fun playing pool in the evening and enjoying the kayaks during the day to explore the creek. The house had the perfect amenities for my wife, dog, and I to get out of the city and enjoy the best of what Maryland has to offer... the Chesapeake Bay! And of course with only being a few miles from St. Michaels we were able to leisurely ride our bikes into town for meals, drive in for shopping, and head down to Tilghman Island. Pandion was such a great house for the week and we are looking forward to coming back next summer.

This was a perfect house for our family of 4 plus our dog! The house was clean, well equipped and beautifully decorated. When we weren't fishing off the dock or kayaking, the screened porch was our favorite place to relax and take in the view of the Bay. We were only a few miles from St. Michael's, but being nestled in the woods at the end of a long driveway, felt far away from everything. We will definitely return! MANAGER RESPONSE: So glad you enjoyed your stay and cannot wait to have you back!

We loved Pandion, the home was very private and the views were great , had a great time catching crabs from the deck and steaming them afterward , Eastern Shore rentals were very helpful with any issues we had, my only complaint was the TV only had basic TV with only 5 channels and the kitchen needed a better supply of pans , bowls , etc. and a drainer for draining dishes that wont fit in the dishwasher ,but overall we loved the home , beds were comfortable and the fireplace was nice.We would stay in this home again. ****MANAGER REVIEW: Thank you very much for the feedback. The TV package there does provide for more thank 5 channels, perhaps there was an issue with the setting. I apologize for the inconvenience. So glad you caught lots of crabs and enjoyed your stay in the property!

The house was just right for the 2 of us! We did, indeed, love the location on Broad Creek. It was so peaceful and serene. Of course we love St. Michael's and Pandion was close enough to town (by car). We golfed nearby and also in Cambridge (just 20 miles away). I would recommend this property to others.

We loved it! Everything. Perfect location, the house was adorable. The privacy was great. If you are looking for quiet Saint Michaels and Pandion are the perfect place. I think we spent 7 hours a day just watching the water go by with the daily trip to town for lunch and some shopping or sight seeing.

We had a wonderful time at Pandion. It was clean, open, airy and very comfortable. The views were absolutely fabulous. The property was secluded (we liked that), but St. Michaels was easily accessible. We hope to be able to go back next year!

Pandion is a nice place for 2-5 people to spend a vacation. It is close to St. Michaels without being in the middle of the action. The lakefront lot is lovely and people that like hot tubs and kayaks will be excited to find these amenities.

What sets ESVR apart is customer service. They ask what can be done to make your stay better, and then they deliver.

The kitchen was lacking in some fundamentals and there were some household items we thought should have been provided. The next morning a pleasant ESVR employee arrived to correct a minor maintenance issue, and he brought along the household sundries we'd mentioned we needed.

I would note that the grill is on its last legs. The drip pan has rusted through, making for quite a mess on the ground below and lots of time redirecting the dogs.

Lawn service came in our absence and kindly gathered the dog toys strewn about the yard.

This is the first time stinging nettles haven't kept us out of the water. Our Border/Lab mix learned to swim and LOVED it!

The home sits well off the road and is exactly as pictured. The decor is enchanting, the king bed a delight. If only the bathroom were en suite, this home would be perfect.

We ate a delicious meal at 208 Talbot. Don't fret about the dress code - there were people in shorts, capris, halter dresses - you name it. If it's within your budget, go there instead of the touristy places.

Forego the kitsch and find a unique keepsake at A Wish Called Wanda.

We've rented through ESVR for almost a decade. Customer loyalty speaks volumes.

Can't wait for next year's vacation schedule to make the rounds so we can reserve Pandion once again.

Pandion is a fantastic get away! The house has a great open floor plan, and the screened in porch enables 24/7 access to the beautiful view. We loved the dock for sunning, reading, fishing, and just being out on the water. The double kayak enabled us to explore the shoreline. Comfortable, quiet, relaxing and only 5 minutes from St. Michael's, Pandion is a perfect vacation spot!

About the Area - St. Michaels

During the War of 1812, St. Michaels gained its name as "the town that fooled the British". The residents of St. Michaels, having been forewarned that British barges were positioned on the waters to attack with cannon fire, hoisted lanterns into the trees above the city. This first successful "blackout" fooled the British into overshooting the town's houses and shipyards. Only one house, forever since known as Cannonball House, was struck. The industry was largely concentrated around shipbuil...
