The Eastern Shore team was great to work with especially the property care manager who was very responsive I just wish we didnt have to call him so often.

The property is absolutely beautiful but I felt like I was home with the door bell constantly ringing with someone coming to do some kind of maintenance including the need to fix air conditioning, door handles, smoke detectors etc. I expected a lawn and pool visit but I think things like septic cleaning should be done when renters aren't staying. Or least don't schedule the septic cleaning and exterminator at the same time.

I was impressed by the speed of response on the few occasions we had maintenance concerns. Each time, we received calls back to communicate the plan, and follow-up calls to ensure the issue was resolved. VERY impressive customer service. Exceeded my expectations.

The ESVR Team for each of our rentals has been consistenly attentive, courteous and fully responsive. One of the key reasons we keep renting each year is the ease with which the process runs via ESVR.

This is a great property and te the owners are to be commended for the additons they keep making. The property is large and secluded, but super convenient tto town, by car, bike or even walking (with a little shade). The house is beautiful and really well designed for groups to both congregate and separate. The sound system is, frankly, challenging, but we used one of those little portable Bose speakers and a PDA and everyhting was fine. The house coul;d also benefit by the addition of a DVD player (overnoght Amazon to the rescue) but that was not a real problem for our crowd. The views are beautiful, as is the pool and porch area. The pool/swing house is just so beautiful to sit in and read a book - before a ping pong ball game. The wine cave is a helpful addition and saves room in the fridge. Plan for at least a few bonfires - one of the best fire pits we've used. The combination of this property and the ESVR team make a this a true winner, and well worht the investment. We'll be back1

The house had all the necessary amenities. We were in the middle of nature, with lots of space. Many dear around and bullfrog noises at night. Excellent pool. Some nice options of things to do in the area.
All this made for an excellent family vacation, where everyone was super relaxed.

We come to the US a few times a year and this is the first time we decided to go to the Bay area on the Eastern Shore. We and our two kids plus their four friends and their parents had plenty of space to play soccer and for the adults to find a quiet nook to read a book in heavenly privacy or lounge by the brand new pool. Bedrooms are handsomely appointed, comfortable. The house is immaculate, boasts all modern conveniencies and the sunsets priceless! Lovely dinners by the fire pit listening to the peaceful lap of the water and calls of night birds. Close enough for a bike ride into the village for shopping and an ice cream. I would definitely return here again - perhaps even to organize a reunion of old highschool girlfriends!

We had a terrific and relaxing time with family and friends! The house has all the comforts of home and more than enough room for our family of 5 and plenty of room for our friends and their 2 kids. The home is perfect for entertaining with a spacious family room and kitchen combo where we spent most of our time togehter with sweeping views of the bay and the dock beyond the pool. There's not much that beats sharing a glass of wine by the pool and watching the brilliant sunset. We had such a great time and look forward to making this an annual spring tradition. Five Stars!

What a beautiful and serene property! The decor is gorgeous and the comfort is impeccable. The hosts thought of everything you could ever need. The property is vast and perfect for long walks, and the fabulous pool and hot tub were the perfect spots to take in the stars. The dock was so inviting to unwind and watch the sunset. The luxury and comfort we experienced was top notch, and this property is definitely on our list for a return stay.

About the Area - St. Michaels

During the War of 1812, St. Michaels gained its name as "the town that fooled the British". The residents of St. Michaels, having been forewarned that British barges were positioned on the waters to attack with cannon fire, hoisted lanterns into the trees above the city. This first successful "blackout" fooled the British into overshooting the town's houses and shipyards. Only one house, forever since known as Cannonball House, was struck. The industry was largely concentrated around shipbuil...
